We have a very urgent need for techical lead/senior software engineer to engage in the area of the energey management/thermal management, EFI/OS development and various other complex EFI/OS issues

Organization:
(SAVBU) Server Access Virtualization Business Unit seeks an experience Senior Software Engineer to define, design and build products for the next generation of data center server access and virtualization.

Opportunity Snapshot:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and gain experience in a broad range of systems hardware, including multi-core CPUs, operating systems like Linux and other kernels, all of which are at the forefront of design and industry in terms of technical relevance. The job involves working on a cutting edge next generation data center server product. We are looking for candidates who strive in a fast paced startup like environment.

Responsibilities:.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a system-level focus while understanding the impact of every component. Broad knowledge of and experience on x86 server hardware and pre-OS booting software. Design & develop large portions of software independently and rapidly.

Required Skills:
•Seven plus years of experience in BIOS/EFI/UEFI SW development.
. In depth experience in EFI OS development, Issue fixing in EFI (Intel Nehalem Platform)
. QPI Experience
. Intel Energy Management / Thermal Management
•Ten plus years of experience in C programming skills.
•Five plus years of in depth experience with x86 server systems.
•Hands on experience on x86 server systems bring up are desired.
•Strong problem solving and software development/troubleshooting debugging skills.
•Experience using of ITP debugger a plus.
• Candidate must possess excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
•BSEE/CS is required a MSEE/CS is preferred
