JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an opportunity for a passionate and talented manager with mobile software background to join our growing development family in downtown San Francisco. You will work with us to create high quality, cutting-edge software products enabling our customers to have the best possible experience viewing and sharing video on mobile devices. You will be known as a“mobile applications guru” that will drive the design and implementation of Flipshare on mobile devices like iPhone, Blackberry, Android, and Windows Mobile phones. You will be responsible for the technical direction of a team of engineers delivering exciting mobile applications. This is a full-time, on-site position. On top of the opportunity to work on amazingly cool, cutting edge, consumer electronics software, we’re even fun to work with.

Appropriate candidates will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Masters Degree in Science, Electrical, Software or Computer Engineering required
• 7 or more years of work experience in software engineering
• 5 or more years of experience designing software and software architectures in a leadership capacity
• 3 or more years of consumer software development on Blackberry, Android, iPhone or other mobile devices
• Demonstrated success leading, directing, and coordinating the technical activities of both full-time and consulting engineers in developing software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

An ideal candidate would also have one or more of the following:

• Experience with multiple mobile platforms
• Experience with multimedia development
• Program management skills
• Experience developing client/server/web interactions
